The Bank of Nigeria has unveiled plans to implement its new online payment system called eNaira.
Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari launched the internet bill on Monday.
e-Naira is a Nigerian currency that can be traded online. This is the first time that Nigeria has embraced the use of internet money.
According to CBN E-Naira, it will be an effective way to trade the Naira currency used by the country.
The Central Bank of Nigeria is responsible for maintaining the system. And the CBN outlines ways to start using the new online financial system, as follows:
The eNaira software will be launched in the Google Play Store for Android users
The eNaira software will be required to download on the phone
After downloading and opening the software you will start registering where it says "Signup"
The bank with which the person is dealing will be selected

The place of registration will be written with the full name and date of birth and state of origin of the person and the bank number associated with the BVN
When the registration is complete, the message will be sent to the person's email address for confirmation
The eNaira system will be approved if "Activate Wallet" is clicked.
To start working with eNaira you will have to register with a registered password
