HISTORY OF THE PROPHET OF ISLAM MUHAMMAD ﷺ
Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family and companions! He was born in Mecca in 570 AD (after the birth of Jesus Christ). His father, Abdallah, died long before his mother gave birth to him. His mother, Amina, was not wealthy.
When the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W was 5 years old he returned to his mother Amina after breastfeeding and care from Halima As-sadiya
At that time, his mother, Amina, was very unhappy with her granddaughter because of her illness. The caravan's mother's condition worsened. Seeing the condition of the caravan, they camped in a field in the middle of the desert called ABWA, with the intention of resting or her body would recover, after a few days the mother of Prophet Mohammad (SAS). she turned to God! Prophet Muhammad S.A.W has left on earth alone not a mother! father! God's children! At a very young age, who at this time was only six (6) years old in the world.
His grandfather took him who also two years later God took his life! At that time, his aunt Abi-Talib continued to take care of him. Abu Talib was one of the great leaders of the Quraysh in Makkah. Abu-Talib was a trader who loaded camels on his way to Syria.
MARRIAGE
Prophet Mohammad (SAS) was also part of the caravan of Syrian merchants. At that time, a very rich woman who was very old asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to take the lead to Syria. Khadija! The Messenger of Allah agreed, and as the business was introduced there was a huge profit with huge success in this business.
His happiness and trustworthiness made Khadiya want to marry him even though she was too old and a widow. The Prophet agreed and married his first wife NANA KHADIJA, the mother of NANA FATIMA, the daughter of the Prophet.
And that did not stop the Prophet from continuing her business! This Sunnah has become very difficult in the lives of Muslims today.
Khadija was married for 24 years, and during her lifetime the Prophet never married.
MUHAMMAD ﷺ PROPHETHOOD
The injustice of the rulers of Makkah made him angry with especially the worship of idols inside the Kaaba at this time, how can there be more than one god?
The Messenger of Allah (saw) started walking to a cave on the outskirts of Mecca to study and Contemplate Life and Solutions, on his way out from time to time, the Messenger of Allah (saw) will encounter something, the words of God the Creator will come to him, that will change the whole world into what we know today.
Muslims everywhere in the world watch the Qibla pray and worship Allah alone with no partner, this Qibla is the Kaaba in Makkah! The origin of this room is full of idols that were worshiped at that time, not Allah the almighty.
The advent of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) has changed this since the revelation of the Qur'anic verses to him in a cave when he was 40 years old
In this cave, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) felt his body burning, his chest weighed him down, as if his soul would be taken, then a voice said to him:
"IQRA’A" Meaning Read, He replied, "I am not among those who can read"
This Voice is repeated a second time which was the voice of the angel Gabriel, so also commanded a third time that "Read"
The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, replied, "What should I read?"
“Read! In the name of your Lord God who created, created man from a clot,
Read! Because your Lord is the Most Generous, taught the pen, and taught man what he did not know ”
Sura 96: aya1
Quran : Islamic Holy Book of God |
Seeing this, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was worried and hurried home to find his wife Khadija, He said: Oh Khadija What's happening to me !! Myself !! cover me, cover me !! As Khadija heard what was going on, she calmed the Prophet down and told him that this was a sign that God had called him to a Prophethood.
He was in that blanket when the angel appeared to him again, and he revealed some verses to him
“O you who are enveloped! Arise, call (the preacher), and honor your Lord (mention him), and purify your garments… ”#Quran
In the year 632, the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) had achieved all that he set out to achieve, which was the unprecedented peace, justice, and unity of the Arabian Peninsula, with the cooperation of Muslims from all walks of life (white or black).
Twenty-two years after the revelation of the Holy Quran, at the age of 60, the Prophet went to Mecca for the last time where he performed the first and last pilgrimage of his life. to the Muslim Ummah and the world, including those who will come after them to the Day of Resurrection, with a testament to the believers and attention to the wise and intelligent, the Prophet Muhammad (SWA) on his camel in the courtyard of the Arfat field of work Hajj, he said:
"Oh! People, lend me your ears and listen to me because I don't know if after this year I will be with you again in this world, so listen to what I am telling you carefully, and take these words and convey them to those who do not attend this meeting, so do not be unjust to yourself, know that one day you will meet God and you will answer for your needs, be careful not to deviate from the right path, the God's way.
Every human being is descended from Prophet Adam and Eve, an Arab is no better than a non-Arab and vice-versa, neither whites nor blacks except in fear of God (faith) and good deeds.
All my listeners should convey this message to those who are not here as well as those who have been conveyed this message to others, and I hope those who will eventually receive this message understand it better than those who are listening to me on this platform now, O God! be my witness, I have conveyed your message to your creatures. ”
The Messenger of Allah (saw) asked the people there, Did I not convey God's message to you? They all answered, "Yes, you have conveyed God's message to us. ”The Prophet asked this question three times and every time the Muslim Ummah believed in conveying God's message to them.
After this speech titled "Farewell Message," the Prophet returned to his home in Medina struggling with short illness, where he was in a room where his wife Aisha was taking care of him.
On 8th / June / 632MD The Messenger of Allah returned to Allah. The attention of the Muslim Ummah and its companions was aroused at this time, where many wondered how the Messenger of Allah (PBUH was supposed to be dead! Abubakar As-Siddiq, a friend of the Prophet, reassured them that the Prophet was a human being and that all human beings should return to God.
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) freed the ummah from the delusions of the pre-Islamic era, gave women freedom and dignity, and protected their rights which during Jahiliyah women were killed out of fear of poverty.
In the next 100 years since the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), Islam has spread throughout the world from the Arabian Peninsula to India and eastern China, to North Africa, Spain, and France in the south.
The lesson from the Prophet's life (PBUH)
1. His belief in God
2. The values of his whole life (Hadith)
3. The Qur'an is the Word of God and the message of God Almighty.
The main point here is that the Messenger of Allah assured the world that we are all one and that no one is more important than the other except he who fears Allah the most, no matter how great or honorable he may be, white or black, a message that is relevant even in today's world. in it nearly 1400 years ago.
