Bola Tinubu, the President-elect of Nigeria, recently made a promise to tackle corruption head-on by introducing policies that will make it less attractive for judges and other Nigerian workers. Tinubu believes that providing incentives and policies that improve the living conditions of judges and other workers will reduce their propensity to engage in corrupt practices. He cited the actions of Governor Nyesom Wike, who has made the judicial officers more comfortable, as a way of fighting corruption. Tinubu said that this is the right approach to fighting corruption because it will help to reduce the temptation to engage in corrupt practices.

Tinubu also noted that judges should not be expected to live or operate in squalor. He believes that if Nigeria wants fair dispensation of justice, it must provide its judicial officers with the necessary tools and resources to work effectively. He argued that providing such resources will ensure that judges operate in a safe and conducive environment, and will reduce the possibility of them being influenced or compromised.

The President-elect also emphasized that his administration will prioritize the welfare of judges and other workers to ensure that they are not forced to engage in corrupt practices due to their financial circumstances. He explained that if the government wants to reduce corruption, it must provide financial incentives and policies that improve the living standards of its workers. He believes that this will help to reduce the temptation to engage in corrupt practices, and that providing financial incentives and policies is a way of creating a level playing field for all workers.

Tinubu also pledged to review all policies that are related to the welfare of workers and judges. He stated that his administration will ensure that all policies are in line with the goal of reducing corruption and promoting fairness in Nigeria. He emphasized that the unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable, and that his administration will work towards promoting unity and fairness in all its policies.

In conclusion, Tinubu's promise to tackle corruption by improving the welfare of workers and judges is a step in the right direction. It shows that he understands the root causes of corruption in Nigeria and is committed to addressing them. Providing financial incentives and policies that improve the living standards of workers and judges will help to reduce the temptation to engage in corrupt practices and promote fairness in the country.

Tinubu's pledge to review all policies related to the welfare of workers and judges is a clear indication that he is committed to ensuring that Nigeria becomes a corruption-free country.
