University management says the security situation around a staff and student area has forced an immediate postponement of Monday and Tuesday examinations.
The University of Jos has postponed scheduled examinations and asked staff and students to remain vigilant after deadly violence near a key part of the campus community.
Ceasefire and Diplomacy
The University of Jos has suspended all examinations scheduled for Monday and Tuesday after the deadly attack in Anguwan Rukuba triggered fresh tension in parts of Jos that host many of the institution's staff and students.
Management of the university told members of the community to remain indoors where possible, move with caution and immediately report any sign of danger to the campus security division. The institution said it was also working closely with relevant security agencies while monitoring developments.
